1-2-1 Hockey Camps and Masterclasses

How do 1-2-1 work with clubs to deliver hockey camps?

We are very experienced at organising and delivering hockey camps. We’ll work with you to find the option that suits your club best… some clubs like to organise camps themselves and 1-2-1 simply provides a team of great coaches. Others prefer us to organise and administrate the camp through the 1-2-1 website as well as delivering the coaching! However we put your camp together, our aim is always the same: fun, challenging and innovative hockey sessions to help players to #BeYourBest

What do I need to bring?

Players must bring a hockey stick, shin pads, mouth guard and a water bottle (for all day courses, you should also bring a packed lunch). Please also wear appropriate clothing and footwear. We also recommend a left hand glove for added protection. Please note that goalkeepers need to bring their own kit.

Once I have booked a place on the 1-2-1 website, can I cancel or change a course booking?

Who coaches on 1-2-1 hockey camps?

Our coaching teams include Olympians, international stars, National League players and experienced coaches. We always try to ensure we have male and female coaches to inspire every girl and boy who takes part. All of our coaches are great at what they do and know how to help you learn and have a great time doing it! You can find out more about who will be coaching on each camp when we release sign up details on our website and social media channels.

1-2-1 Coach Education Courses for Clubs and Schools

What is 1-2-1 Coach Education all about?

Our Coach Education courses allow coaches to learn fun and effective new ideas, refresh their knowledge and develop confidence and communication skills. Our experienced coach educators will help upskill your coaches and leave everyone feeling engaged and inspired.

What kind of Coach Education courses are on offer?

We have developed a range of courses because we know that every school or club is different. Options include single modules, half and whole day courses on a range of topics. We can tailor the timings and content of any course to suit you. See our Coach Education page for more details and pricing.

I would like to develop a programme for young coaches at my club. Can 1-2-1 help us with this?

We have recently launched a ‘Young Leaders in Hockey’ course aimed at 14-19 year olds. As with our other courses, we can tailor the content and delivery to suit coaches at your club or school. The course is a bitesize version of our ‘Coach Ed 1.0’ course and will help your young coaches become more confident and effective. All coaches who attend will receive resource booklets.

Are there any coaching resources available?

We have developed extensive resource booklets as part of our Coach Education courses. Every coach who attends will receive a booklet to use on the day and take away for reference.

What does a typical Coach Education workshop involve?

We believe that coaches learn and develop through fun, interactive Coach Education workshops. Most of our courses are delivered mainly on a hockey pitch, giving coaches plenty of opportunity to try out, watch and reflect on ideas in action. Some of our modules also include some time discussing and exploring principles and tactics in a classroom (or pitch side).

How do I book a Coach Education course at my club or school?

Check out the Coach Education page and complete the contact form. Alternatively, email us on or call 07971 530461 and we will be very happy to discuss the options with you.
