Secret Missions (single pack)

Give out a handful of cards at the start of each session or before a game. Tell players to hide the card in their pocket or their sock. It is a secret mission.

Check in during the session and ask them how they are getting on.

At the end of the session give them some thinking time and then an opportunity to share their stories.

Secret Hockey Missions work with all ages and levels of experience.

Choose cards that tie in with your own values, your plan for a session, or what you would like an individual player to work on. Here are a few examples from across all four categories:

• Count every time you tackle two-handed
• Share one great idea with a teammate
• Who is being a good leader?
• What have you learnt today?
• Tell someone they are playing well
• Come up with a clever plan
