• “I wanted to say that Dave Cooper was absolutely brilliant at preparing our son for his hockey trial. He covered so much in the sessions and really thought about the way to get the best out of him.  He was engaging, fun and extremely skilled at teaching. I would recommend him wholeheartedly.”

    • Zoe [Shipperley] was brilliant, we’d heard great things about her coaching and we weren’t disappointed!”

    • Rob [Field] is a brilliant coach and we learnt so much over the series of sessions”

    • “I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say how much our daughter enjoyed her session with Simon Faulkner on Friday. She is still buzzing from it and really pushed her on areas that she wanted to work on”

    • I returned to hockey a few years back after a long break. I had played premier league hockey for many years before so was keen to get back some of my skills. The game had moved on and it was tricky at training to try and fit in all I wanted to learn and practice and hard not to revert to what I knew. In my first session with Dan Fox I had 300 strikes at goal alone which would have taken me at least half a season of training to replicate. As well as honing my current skillset Dan also modernised mine such as the reverse strike and 3d skills such as the new double lift. It was intense but fun and I have been able to adapt to the new skills and now wonder what I did without them. Nearly 30 years after my last appearance in an England Training Squad I am back in one albeit at Vets now but Dan played a big part in that. I highly recommend.

    • The coaches from 1-2-1 are very engaging with each individual player as the sessions are built to develop and support the areas that player is focusing on. The structured approach allows for the transition from the training pitch to game play. The player is pushed to stretch their skills in a supportive and positive environment which allows for increased confidence and development.

    • My son has had a few sessions with Simon Faulkner. His attention to detail and delivery is first grade. Simon always requests details on areas that Sami requires work on and then tailors the session accordingly. We’re very pleased. One potential area for improvement could be to video certain drills on smartphone and then review together in slow motion, to correct any flaws. All in all though, we’re extremely pleased. Thank you.
